I first became aware of Indian born, London Based artist Raqib Shaw at a private view at Sothebys. A dreamy, intricately detailed, glitter sprinkled delight of a painting that you could find something new in every time. He combines elements of childhood fairy tales with the freedom and movement of youth and the intricate, complicated skills of adulthood. My HeART flutters- Im leaving a space on my wall which will, in the near future, be filled with one of his canvases.
