I first learnt of Caroline Issa’s love for shoes when we met at a dinner for Charlotte Olympia a few years ago.

Since then over various lunches and dinners, Caroline has continued to be an inspiration to me – firstly for her savvy business know how ( she has a degree in business from Wharton!) and secondly for her impeccable style- its hard not to command respect in the boardroom and fashion circles when you’re wearing Prada trousers and an Equipment blouse.

I can’t wait to get my hand locked around one of her beautiful Thailand inspired clutches and these cute heels!

Rich, red hues opened the show at Felder Felder this afternoon, followed by velvet polo necks, latex skater skirts and THE most beautiful coats. Twin sisters Annette Felder and Daniela Felder showed a collection that was instantly desirable. Introducing Autumn’s new trends in a noticeable but wearable way. Confident and sexy, the twins drew inspiration for their autumn winter 13 collection from the original z- boys, stars of one of my all time favourite films- Lords of Dogtown. Radness Delivered!

Morocco Surprise

I turned 22 on the 9th of Feb and one of my close friends turned 21 so her boyfriend organised a surprise trip to Morocco! The look on her face when she walked into the hotel and we were all there with her family was just the sweetest thing ever! 3 glorious days spent exploring the desert, souks and cuisine of Marrakesh and finally delving into my spring summer wardrobe. I came back to London and threw my party in a suite at The W Hotel (where our FLASHTRASH pop up shop is!) that needless to say went on all night and ended in the early hours with room service aka pancakes.

#NYFW Round Up

Was a shame to turn down NYFW this year but business and work took over – its a busy time in the jewellery world! But managed to catch a few live streams (Can they ever really replace a real show though? Interesting thoughts from Suzy Menkes here)- Victoria Beckham’s delicious polo necks and violet and canary yellow colour palette were a wonderfully romantic contrast to the sharp tailoring.

Elsewhere Thakoon’s contour lace panels (below) caught my eye as did Mara Hoffman’s rad prints.

I had so much fun last year at the Tommy Hilfger show with Cory Kennedy and Mia so was sad not to be there this year because I totally enjoyed the TWEED versus HOUNDSTOOTH battle extravagazna! It was so preppy powerful I just wanted to pick up my lacrosse stick and go get harry potter out of the London Library.
