As Summer dozed off to sleep for another year, New York Fashion Week started in a whirl of pastel crop tops and 90’s soft grunge. Sad I couldn’t make it over to the big apple to play this year, but instagram provided the next best thing! So here’s a round up of my top 10 looks for S’S’14. Roll on LFW for some IRL fashion action! See you in the courtyard xoxo
To Ryder Street last night for the ‘Viva London: Self Portraits’ exhibition hosted by Harper’s Bazaar. An intimate gallery of photographs, paintings and drawings, individually pictured the talented young women the agency represents in the most honest way.

Self-portraitureas a style came to popularity in the Early Renaissance, with increased wealth and interest in the individual as a subject. The form seems more relevant than ever in our ‘Selfie’ culture, as we increasingly spend more time isolated on digital platforms we become our own subject for self-expression. 1. Buy New Stationary!
Even if you’re not going back to school, there’s nothing quite like new pens and paper. I’m rather fond of these notepads from Rifle Paper Co,available at Liberty’s.
2. Watch Breaking Bad
Not just because it’s the best TV show out there right now- great script, amazing actors- but because it’s also got a surprising amount of relevant wisdom for entrepreneurs. From following your passion and believing in your vision, to hiring loyal and intelligent workers. Click to read the full article on 4 Startup Lessons From ‘Breaking Bad’
3. Read Drunk Tank Pink
This psychology book looks at how our decisions are influenced on a subconscious level. From proof that you are more creative when exposed to the Apple rather than the IBM logo, to the power of nominative determinism in charity ( more people whose name began with K donated money to Hurricane Katrina than any other letter) this is a thought provoking read.
4. Buy a new piece of jewellery to start the new season, from MYFLASHTRASH.COM!
We’ve just launched another super talented jewellery designer at Flash Trash, Laura Gravestock. Rosie Fortescue introduced me to Laura, who designs and hand makes everything in London- her delicate heart rings are quickly becoming a hot fashion favourite.
5. Check out my friend Whinnie Williams SUPER amazing new song!!
