I had a lot of fun supporting Blue Marine Foundation at the ICAP Charity Trading day the other week! Francis Boulle (Above) and Fredrik Ferrier joined me on the trading floor, to sell and buy and cause general havoc in the bank’s London HQ. We totally missed the memo on fancy dress though as all the staff dressed up in some serious punk/ hippie/ superhero gear, I opted for more of what I like to think was a female CEO, boss vibe a la Lucy Liu!!! Ccreamy silk shirt and, slit knee length tweed pencil skirt from one of my favourite London Store’s- Joseph SHOP BELOW
Last month I headed over to California with two of my best friends Poppy Jamie and Greta Bellamacina. Between Tedx and Silicon Valley meetings, I managed to squeeze in some creativity!!!! And spontaneously booked a flight down to SF to join Jacob and Greta in filming a short for Harpers Bazaar. Our original plan was to hop on Bombay Bicycle Club’stour bus and live out a groupie dream, but that moment soon passed and film wonder kid Jacob Perlmutter had decided on an ode to Woody Allen’s Manhattan. Watch the film above. See if you can spot me lurking in the background on my blackberry or reading WIRED.
Styling wise we used Twenty 8 Twelve ( They have the warmest EVER winter coats check them out in store) and Hobbs Nw3for the film as well as a few whismical pieces of jewellery from MYFLASHTRASH.COM
WILL.I.AM has always been grade awesome in my books, so when it came out earlier this week that he’s created a camera accessory for Iphone that turns the camera from an 8 mega pixel snapper into a 14 mega pixel his grade went up to AWESOME +. Which is exactly what his new venture is. i.am+ will also link to an instagram like network allowing users to share their photos.
There is a lesson in this, he’s working with Apple to compete against Instagram……..
MORE MONOCHROME! last week at the DKNY Hearts for Haiti Event with Olivia Grant below. Was so interesting to talk to Donna Karen about how they are introducing more eco-friendly intiatives into the design, she was carrying a paper maiche bag! In a glossy burgundy you would never have guessed. Don’t think my DIY skills are that great to be flaunting one just yet #PVCMESS

WHAT: The Opening Party for the Four Seasons in Baku, Azerbaijan
WHY: Earlier this year I hosted my 21st birthday at BAKU restaurant in London, intrigued by this up and coming cosmpolitan city I checked out art exhibitons and the new Conde Nast magazine Baku founded and edited by Leyla Aliyeva. So when I was invited last weekend to visit it was an unusal weekend getaway opportunity I couldn’t miss.
WHO: Our British Baku Collective included Culutural Entrepreuners and Artists from Polly Morgan and Matt Colinshaw to Hamish Jenkinson, Pablo Ganguli, Tomas Auksas Biology student supremo George Birch.
WARDROBE: 9 out of 11 existing climate zones are present in Azerbaijan so my eclectically packed LV Holdall included everything from a vintage cape and fur muff to a bikini! Twenty 8 Twelve and HOBBS NW3 jackets and jumpers were perfect for the winter sunshine whilst a David Koma Dress and Miu Miu shoes were fun for the evening!
Bag- Chanel. Top Twenty 8 Twelve s/s’13, Cardigan Marc by Marc Jacobs, Skirt- Hobbs NW3, Jewellery- MYFLASHTRASH.COM
Katy Wickremesinghe, Pablo Gulgani and Polly Morgan
WE ATE: Traditional Azeri food, cured meats and caviar, pickled vegetables and rye bread all washed down with far too much champagne and midnight four seasons treats like nougat and baklava.
