I’m currently sitting in a hotel room in the wonderfully serene Italian port town of Trieste. Other than being a fan of port towns, I’m actually here for the kick-ass fashion launch pad that is ITS ( International Talent Support) .
A platform sponsored by Diesel which gives visibility to young talent from every corner of the globe, providing an opportunity to have their work shown to industry experts and win funding. Previous winners include Peter Pilotto, Heikki Salonen & Mark Fast. So the level of quality is high, the design original and the products more delicious than Gelato.
10AM arrive at Stanstead with @PHILIPPAMORGANWALKER & @RICHARDSTORER morale is high. As high as the bread stock piled in Starbucks.
10:30am Bump into @Gianlucolongo . Chic case? Check. Brief Fashion Chat. OMG+ Moan about paying £60, yes £60, to print our tickets. But thats Ryan Air ( Scare) Which is just….
11:30am Plane Reading. Which I subsequently left on the plane. Sigh.
2pm Arrive at the GLORIOUS Hotel Savoia. Where the decor is so Pinterest perfect you just want to run at things with an actual pin. Note the tassels!
4PM Stroll around and plan schedule of Interviews. Eat Gelato. Then find Macaroon Ice Cream and regret decision. BUT Going back tomorrow.
